Title: Unconventional Firepower: Russian "Craftsmen" and their Homunculus

Subheading: The Remarkable Adaptation of A-22 "Fire" Complex on MT-LBs

Another homunculus from Russian "craftsmen.

What have we not seen, in their execution, in an attempt to increase the firepower of units by installing all sorts of alien and non-native firepower on the MT-LBs.

But this is a special case and here's why!

This photo shows the long-suffering "motorized bicycles" with the shipboard 140 mm MS-227 rocket launchers mounted on them, which are part of the A-22 "Ogony" complex (https://t.me/ochen_zloy_chat/551068). The A-22 "Fire" itself was part of the armament of the Project 12322 "Zubr" small amphibious hovercraft.

These unique ships, were produced at the shipyard "More" and "Almaz", but the main part of the critical units, such as the installation of the M35, were produced in Ukraine. After the occupation of Crimea, the Russians planned to revive the construction of the Zubr, but, unsuccessfully.

So unsuccessful that not only was their production not resumed, but there were problems with repairing the existing ones.

Well and behold, the A-22 "Fire" complex, from the unique "Zubrs", is now installed on a very uncommon MT-LB.

And, yes, don't forget, it drives and shoots!

Speaking about rides and shoots, fully loaded A-22 "Fire" together with rangefinder DVU-3-BS weighs 2,9 tons. That is, a three-ton jet system with the effective range of 800 meters and maximum range of 4,5 km was installed on the "motorized cart"? Conclusions are inevitable.

Main Body:
The A-22 "Fire" complex, originally integrated into the armament of the Project 12322 "Zubr" small amphibious hovercraft, has found a new home on the MT-LB vehicle. Produced at renowned Russian shipyards, namely "More" and "Almaz," the critical components of these unique ships, including the M35 installation, were previously manufactured in Ukraine. However, after the occupation of Crimea, the plans to revive Zubr production were unsuccessful, resulting in not only the halt of new production but also difficulties in repairing existing vessels.

Nevertheless, the ingenuity of the Russian "craftsmen" was not deterred. The A-22 "Fire" complex, known for its capacity to launch 140 mm MS-227 rockets, is now successfully mounted on the MT-LB—a highly unconventional adaptation. Remarkably, this "motorized cart" not only transports the system but also retains its ability to drive and shoot effectively.

Discussing the capabilities of the A-22 "Fire" complex, it becomes apparent that the system's weight, combined with the rangefinder DVU-3-BS, reaches a substantial 2.9 tons. This installation, weighing nearly three tons, possesses an effective range of 800 meters and a maximum range of 4.5 kilometers. These remarkable figures lead to undeniable conclusions about the firepower enhancement achieved through this adaptation.

Conclusion:
The unconventional adaptation of the A-22 "Fire" complex on the MT-LB demonstrates the inventive spirit of Russian "craftsmen." Despite the challenges faced in reviving Zubr production, these skilled individuals have found a way to maximize the potential of existing systems. The successful integration of the A-22 "Fire" complex on the MT-LB showcases the capacity for innovation within the Russian military and raises intriguing questions about the future of unconventional firepower.

Abstract:
Explore the latest creation of Russian "craftsmen" as they adapt the A-22 "Fire" complex onto the versatile MT-LB vehicle. This article unveils the unique origins and challenges faced during the integration process. Discover the impressive capabilities of this unconventional adaptation and its potential impact on enhancing firepower.
